sent these cute BlanKeTs for this project. Firstly... THANK YOU so very much Illene... from HeRe... at Ret Dairy Queen blog.
I really appreciate you taking the time to make and send these blankets to me.
Secondly... THANK YOU to Jill who regularly sends beautifully handmade Blankets.
All of these blankets have been patiently waiting for me to return home...
Without wonderful ladies like you two...this project wouldn't be as successful as it it.
Four gorgeous blankets arrived here today... all the way from Western Australia.
Maria from here... Life on the Block blog... sent them.
Maria has been a supporter of this project for quite awhile... and is one generous lady!
Of course we all know that Maria is An AnGeL as well...
If anyone is thinking of sending a blanket of love to me...
it may be wise to hold it until I return from holidays.
Four gorgeous little blankets arrived last week... however this is the first chance I've had to show them to you. Jill sent them along and they are sooooo cute.
Appliqued sheep and butterfly's teamed with pretty colourful fabric.
Unfortunately Jill doesn't have a blog to visit... so I will say this here...
My SIL recently delivered a box full of Blankets to one of the hospitals.
All your donations were very much appreciated and a huge THANK YOU was given by the nurses.
They were amazed by the talent of the ladies making these gorgeous wee blankets.
A gorgeous little blanket arrived earlier this week...
Unfortunately I don't have an email address to say THANK YOU asap...
but Bronwen will be receiving a card by snail mail later this week.
You are so generous for sending it along...& are now officially an AnGeL.
I am blessed to have so many supporters of this project.
Barbara sent along a heap of blankets... 6 in all. Unfortunately Barb doesn't have a blog to visit.
Each one has a gorgeous applique on it... in lovely colours.
THANK YOU so very much Barbara...you are once again an AnGeL...
Three GoRGeOUs blankets arrived from Elizabeth.
You can visit Elizabeth's blog over HeRe...
The blankets have wonderful quilting on them... and the colours are glorious.
THANK YOU Elizabeth... you are once again an AnGeL...
A very large envelope arrived at my home this week... which enclosed 6 gorgeous blankets.
My very talented friend SuE... from HeRe... sent them up to me.
Once again you are an AnGeL Sue... for being so thoughtful and generous.
The mailman delivered a parcel last week from Sisbabe... you can visit her blog over HeRe...
Inside the envelope were 7 little blankets which were all beautifully made.
Sisbabe has donated to this project before so she knows how I feel about her generosity...but let me say another wonderful thing about this lady...
Jill sent along another 4 quilts for the project.
All 4 are beautifully hand quilted... each one different from the other...& ALL are finished with gorgeous detailing. Jill said she used a bit of a "heart" theme for these blankets.
Unfortunately Jill doesn't have a blog to visit... or one that I know of at least...
But at some point this year, Jill's blankets will help a family in need at one of the 5 hospital this project services.
